Music:: のあのわ :: Noanowa

The last music post was about Kalafina and how it is very likely that dolly kei girls listen to them and how their fashion sense was pretty close to that of Dolly kei.

Music can inspire people to dress a certain way. Perhaps Noanowa is one of those bands that mori girls like to follow. Yuuko, the vocalist of the band is definitely a mori girl as in her music videos. Even the band's cd covers and website shows artwork of animals and trees or nature. Even their photoshoots have that mori girl feel of nature.

Their music is pretty lighthearted and easy to listen to. Her vocals somehow reminds me of the female version of Ryutaro from plastic tree, but that aside here's some of their music videos.

In this video i feel that she has abit of dolly kei feel here too.

I feel Yuuko is in between of dolly kei and mori girl. After all both styles are very closely related and dolly kei is another sub fashion of mori girl. Anyway I hope that you'll enjoy the music.

Lolita: Metamorphose temps de fille Spring 2010 collection part 1

Metamorphose's Spring Collection 2010 catalogue- Part 1
Source: Metamorphose, scanned by 2manysubcultures

Lots and lots of prints, although they do remind me alot of Angelic Pretty, I prefer metamorphose's prints. I'm never one to really wear prints but when I saw blooming garden series, i just had to get the black one. It's very beautiful in real life.

Blooming Garden Series. (Black not shown)

Sailor
Regimental Stripe

Lolita: Metamorphose temps de fille Spring 2010 collection part 2

Popping Balloon
Hearts

RevivalI personally feel that the revival dress can be worn for dolly kei especially the one in the middle. Anyway thats the last of the collection :) For more information and newer collections go to Metamorphose temps de fille

Lifestyle : Lets Knit : knitting life Magazine

If you see mori girls out there most of them wear knits. Instead of buying them, why not try making it yourself? I think knitting somehow compliments the mori girl lifestyle.
Here are mori girl coordination ideas with knits, photos from lets knit series magazine. You can buy it or download it here. Credit goes to it's rightful owners.

For more photos and instructions on how to make the knits in the photos, do download it or buy the magazine. I hope this has been useful. I hope to update a little faster in the future. Thank you for reading!

Dolly Kei Finds : Made With Love by Hannah

Dolly Kei has a lot of Eastern European feel especially the one pieces and skirts. This is probably a very practical choice when it comes to Spring or Summer look for Dolly style. You can see that the fur shawl is gone!

If you're an avid online shopper like me, here are a few recommendations from Made with love by Hannah.

You can pair this with black or purple leggings and accessorize it with a knitted Bolero. Overall you should
always have fun with accessorizing it and dare to put different coordination.

This has got to be my most favourite pieces that they have. Look at those prints! Again, I wish
they come in black but red is good too! For a simpler print, try going for the pendant skirt and i think you can totally play around with accessorizing.

Mori Shopping Finds - Sandals

I went Mori shopping the other day and saw this pair of sandals.
The design is nothing new but I really liked it and I think it works great for mori girls. Sandals retail at $30 sgd but I think there are cheaper options. I like how...earthly it looks and it'll go well with brown and grey tones for clothing.

What kind of shoes and sandals do other mori girls like??
